The Mid-Autumn Festival,
also called the Chinese Moon Festival, is one of the most important annual
festivals for the Chinese people (in addition to the Spring Festival and Chinese New Year) and is an official holiday. Most importantly, it is
a day for family reunion. This lively festival takes place on the 15th day
of the 8th Chinese lunar month every year….
It’s a celebration full of
joy and happiness, friends and loved ones gather to celebrate a time when the
moon is at its fullest and brightest of the whole year, and everyone gathers
together to delight in eating moon cakes and appreciating the spectacular
beauty of the full moon. This has been a classic activity since ancient times.
The Mid-Autumn Festival
ranks as one of China’s top 3 lantern festivals, large scale of lantern shows
and exhibition held during the Lantern Festival.
This Mid Autumn I have
chosen a set of moon cakes which comes in artistic package by Casa Hana
In this set two authentic
& delightful moon cakes one is matcha tiramisu, another is blueberry fairy…
Here are these…
